This just happened to me in 12.04 Precise. I accidently click on move to trash in Rhythmbox so I right clicked on the trash can on the Unity sidebar and it gave me this exact error.
On a side note I never emptied the trash but when I went into Nautilus immediatly after I right clicked on the file and then clicked on restore it said the file did not exist. I assume that has something to do with a cache write being out of sync because not more than 1 min later the file was able to be restored properly Linux rain 3.2.0-19-generic-pae #30-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 16 18:34:15 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gvfs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/412845 Title: gvfsd-trash crashed with SIGSEGV in async_ready_callback_wrapper() Status in “gvfs” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Binary package hint: gvfs I right clicked on the icon in the panel and chose empty trash, and this error came up, the trash is empty but the icon still shows like it has things in it.
