Thanks for checking up on this. I'm not sure it's the same problem as the other reported bug, since that had to do with recent files not showing up at all, and this has to do with clicking to open one file and the file next to it in the list opening. But in any case I'm now using 3.5.0 (most recent in Precise Beta) haven't noticed it since upgrading. I'll report if it happens again.
