I'm not sure I understand what the issue is here...is gnome-screensaver not showing the "Switch user" button?

What actually happens: Using 12.04 beta Desktop. When an Administrator or Standard User locks his screen, either via inactivity or by Ctrl-Alt-L, there is no ability to switch to another user. When activated, the greeter just shows the Password entry box and "Unlock" button. No "Switch User" button is shown (or Shutdown, etc). $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu precise (development branch) Release: 12.04 $ apt-cache policy lightdm lightdm: Installed: 1.1.6-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 1.1.6-0ubuntu1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/950583/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
