I installed the gnome-session-fallback package and required dependencies. When I login the fallback session, and if I pull down the system menu with ALT+F1 key, the applications menu is empty. Not presenting the groups and menu items, for example the accessories group, and the gedit text editor in accessories group. I am not full sure this to this problem is real, because I using Orca screen reader. Very interesting, the places menu is working right. Now I unable to verify what menu items is checked with Alacarte preference tool for applications section, because Alacarte is crash when I try launch the preference tool. If I try the fallback mode with original GNOME publicated live CD, everithink is working right.
