Title:
When I try to open Empathy, appears the window for a short while but
  then immediately disappears.

Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
When I try to open Empathy appears the window for a short while but
then immediately disappears. After several attempts usually appear,
but whenever I open Empathy for the first time after starting Ubuntu
is the same. Generally, the window disappears immediately after loggin
to my hotmail account. Even sometimes does not log after several
minutes, and while attempting to log, the window appears normally, but
then logs in and disappears. I have no problem with others
  applications, only happends whith Empathy.
