I can see the extension you're probably referring to is 'dash-to-
[email protected]', which is known to conflict with 'ubuntu-
[email protected]' leading to serious bugs. You can only have one of those
extensions enabled at a time, which is tracked in bug 2003168.
Since both extensions are basically identical and only ubuntu-dock is
supported here, I strongly recommend deleting dash-to-dock and any other
unsupported local extensions:
cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/
rm -rf extensions
and then log in again.
