You have been subscribed to a public bug: It would be great to include ppa related information when using ubuntu- bug to file a bug report. If privacy is a concern, this could be optional on ubuntu-bug reports, and provided only on non-ubuntu bug reports (reports against ppa's). Ideally, the source (whether from a ppa or the archive) as well as the version number for each package would be provided. In addition, the source and version number of each of the packages dependencies would also be provided.
This would enable better visibility of bug reporting against ppa's when testing, as well as potential third party ppa issues running non-default libraries, etc, on an end-users system. ** Affects: apport (Ubuntu) Importance: Wishlist Status: Triaged -- Apport doesn't list enabled ppa's as part of report https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/927912 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to apport in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
