Title: mao layout disappeared, nz layout does not provide macrons Status in xkeyboard-config package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: In 22.04 and before, xkb-data provided usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/mao provided symbols for Māori, along with a handy set of extended latin characters. In 24.04, the "mao" layout is gone. There is a "nz" layout, but it does not seem to provide access to the necessary vowels with macrons, like "āēīōūĀĒĪŌŪ" (or any of the other handy characters).
