Public bug reported:

I had a problem on a very old computer running Ubuntu 20.10. In “Settings &
Updates” under “Additional Drivers” the button at the bottom right “Reset and
‘Apply changes’ remains permanently grayed out. Furthermore, no drivers are
found or displayed. Not even the nouveau driver. So there is no possibility to
change or find anything at all. What's more, if you want to close the window
afterwards (either by clicking on the “x” at the top right or “close” at the
bottom right), a small window appears asking: “Force quit” or “wait”. If I
choose wait, nothing happens, so I have to force quit.
Now I have noticed that the same problem on my new MSI laptop from 2024 has
exactly the same problem. There is a serious bug here. I am laso user only able
to find out which graphics drivers are installed via the terminal and also a
change is only possible via the terminal.
