Public bug reported: I have many "site searches" configured, for shortcuts such as: - pkg: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/%s - excuses: https://ubuntu-archive-team.ubuntu.com/proposed-migration/update_excuses.html#%s - code: https://code.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/%s
And many others. These are being lost over time, and I can't tell what is causing it. In the span of a week, I lost them twice, and had to reconfigure them again. $ snap info chromium name: chromium summary: Chromium web browser, open-source version of Chrome publisher: Canonical✓ store-url: https://snapcraft.io/chromium contact: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bugs?field.tag=snap license: unset description: | An open-source browser project that aims to build a safer, faster, and more stable way for all Internet users to experience the web. commands: - chromium.chromedriver - chromium services: chromium.daemon: simple, disabled, inactive snap-id: XKEcBqPM06H1Z7zGOdG5fbICuf8NWK5R tracking: latest/beta refresh-date: 8 days ago, at 13:01 -03 channels: latest/stable: 132.0.6834.83 2025-01-16 (3025) 182MB - latest/candidate: 132.0.6834.83 2025-01-16 (3025) 182MB - latest/beta: 133.0.6943.16 2025-01-17 (3027) 184MB - latest/edge: 133.0.6905.0 2025-01-15 (3024) 186MB - installed: 133.0.6943.16 (3027) 184MB - ** Affects: chromium-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2096844 Title: site search configuration lost Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I have many "site searches" configured, for shortcuts such as: - pkg: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/%s - excuses: https://ubuntu-archive-team.ubuntu.com/proposed-migration/update_excuses.html#%s - code: https://code.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/%s And many others.
