The importance of the bug is always a judgement call, I reckoned that
(un)maximizing is still possible, just less convenient for a fraction of
the user base (namely that that uses the double-click approach), and
there exist alternatives (e.g. keyboard shortcut, maximize button etc.).
Anyhow, this is an assigned bug upstream, which is what really matters.

Title:
Edge and Chrome titlebar need three taps on touchpad to maximize,
instead of 2, like other apps

Status in Chromium Browser:
  Unknown
Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
In Ubuntu 2024.10 I need 3 touchpad-taps to maximize Chrome or Edge
window, while all other applications I use, "Settings" for example,
  need 2 taps.

If I use mouse, then Chrome and Edge also need only 2 clicks (double-
click) to maximize, so problem is related only to touchpad.
