Some apps like Krita could be configured which profile they uses and typically when opening image which seems normal on monitor browser or in image viewer, in Krita is not. But Krita could be configured but it is not so easy to find out, but it is possible and then image is fully compatible with browser, monitor, image viewer and editor like Krita and if desirable than also exported for printage usage like in CMYK...
