You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Hey whenever i enable performance mode rather than balanced or power-
saver mode after some time the screen utterly freezes only iam only able
to move mouse it has been happening since a long time with previous
versions of ubuntu too ,( although with this new version which i booted
in my laptop 2-3 days earlier ) i checked whether the bug has been fixed
or not for 1-2 day it seemed that it was fixed and i was able to run
demanding apps such android studio on performance mode rather than
balance mode but today it freezed for the first time and then i had to
forecefully reboot my laptop using the power button (as no button was
responsive) then again when i turned on performance mode the same thing
happened so i now don't enable it

Hey if you need any other help regarding the bug please feel free to
email me i would be more than willing to help you fix this bug :)
