'ubuntu-settings' is not the correct package for the Settings application so I'm moving this to 'gnome-control-center'.
Reporting multiple bugs in a single report is not a good idea as it will only cause confusion if more than one developer is involved in fixing reported issues. No doubt the Desktop Team will advise further. ** Tags added: noble ** Package changed: ubuntu-settings (Ubuntu) => gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-settings in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2084884 Title: On the systems settings app under the menu 'Ubuntu Desktop' there is only 'Oops, something went wrong. Please report a bug in LaunchPad'. SO that is what I am doing. Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Release: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS ubuntu-settings version: 24.04.5 I expected to be able to make changes to my Ubuntu desktop. I have a couple of issues with my upgrade to Ubuntu 24.04. I must say it was, on the whole a seamless process. However, on the login screen at startup the screen is tiny and I can only just make out what is on the screen to login. When the notifications dialogue pops up when using Ubuntu the dialogue goes right across the upper portion of the screen and the title text is a single line at the side with the notification text white on a white background. Searching it seemed that I could access changes for these in the settings app under Ubuntu Desktop. Unfortunately this is inaccessible and only shows an error message. 'Oops, something went wrong. Please report a bug in LaunchPad'. SO that is what I am doing.
