Public bug reported: [ Summary ]
If you use a 12 hour or AM/PM clock, the lock screen clock is sometimes misaligned with respect to the date below it - it's not centered. I've noticed this problem on several distributions so far, using both the default font (Cantarell) and with other fonts as well. Coming from: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/6193 [ Test case ] 1. Enable AM/PM under Time Format (Settings --> Date & Time --> Time Format) 2. Lock the screen 3. The clock should be centered [ Regression potential ] Clock is not centered when using 24h-format. ** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Assignee: Marco Trevisan (Treviño) (3v1n0) Status: Fix Released ** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Medium Assignee: Marco Trevisan (Treviño) (3v1n0) Status: In Progress ** Also affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu Noble) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu Noble) Assignee: (unassigned) => Marco Trevisan (Treviño) (3v1n0) ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu Noble) Status: New => In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2084276 Title: Lock screen clock not centered when using a 12 hour / AM/PM clock Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in gnome-shell source package in Noble: In Progress Bug description: [ Summary ] If you use a 12 hour or AM/PM clock, the lock screen clock is sometimes misaligned with respect to the date below it - it's not centered.
