gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng version: 46+really47.0.9-1
I have faced this issue on bare metal as well as in a VM. The only fix
for this is disabling the extension and downloading

I could swear that I saw a similar bug report already, but I've tried
searching for it for hours without any luck, and since the problem
persists, I decided to report it again.
