Public bug reported: I experience random crashes when copying files using nautilus between external hard drives with both NTFS and ext4 filesystems. I recently upgraded to 24.04.1 from 22.04.4 when it became possible. The message reads:
Gdk:ERROR:../../../gdk/x11/gdksurface-x11.c:649:sync_counter_for_end_frame: assertion failed: (impl->toplevel->extended_update_counter != None) Bail out!
