Update and re-enable keyboard layout option patches
Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Ubuntu's gnome-control-center packaging has 2 patches to enable
additional configuration for the Alternate Characters Key & Compose
Key options in the Keyboard panel. These subpages were rewritten for
the 47 release cycle.
To ensure we got the gnome-control-center 47 Beta (and other things)
into Ubuntu 24.10 before Feature Freeze, I temporarily disabled those
patches. The patches should be updated and re-enabled.
