Title:
gnome apps wont open after installing nvidia drivers

Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers-535 package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Dear Ubuntu support,
I am running Ubuntu 24.04.1 on an MSI GS75 with Intel i7-9750H and Nvidia RTX
2060 (mobile). I am running on it a few dockers, including AdGuard, portainer
and memos apps, and Plex media server installed with snap.

I connect to the computer via RDP, using gnome remote desktop. I tried to
install nvidia drivers (version 535), but since I cannot open any gnome apps.
when I run them from the terminal within the rdp, I get the following error:
MESA: error: CreateSwapchainKHR failed with VK_ERROR_INITIALIZATION_FAILED
MESA: error: zink: could not create swapchain

I tried to install nvidia drivers 550, but the issue consists there too. I
tried to research the issue online, and I've noticed other people encountered
it, but with no valid solution sadly.
If you have any idea of what can I try, it would be really helpful

Thank you for your help and time,
  Best Regards,
  Udi
