I am running on it a few dockers, including AdGuard, portainer and memos apps, and Plex media server installed with snap. I connect to the computer via RDP, using gnome remote desktop. I tried to install nvidia drivers (version 535), but since I cannot open any gnome apps. when I run them from the terminal within the rdp, I get the following error: MESA: error: CreateSwapchainKHR failed with VK_ERROR_INITIALIZATION_FAILED MESA: error: zink: could not create swapchain I tried to install nvidia drivers 550, but the issue consists there too. I tried to research the issue online, and I've noticed other people encountered it, but with no valid solution sadly. If you have any idea of what can I try, it would be really helpful Thank you for your help and time, Best Regards, Udi ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 24.04 Package: xorg 1:7.7+23ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 6.8.0-41.41-generic 6.8.12 Uname: Linux 6.8.0-41-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia_modeset nvidia .proc.driver.nvidia.capabilities.gpu0: Error: path was not a regular file. .proc.driver.nvidia.capabilities.mig: Error: path was not a regular file. .proc.driver.nvidia.gpus.0000.01.00.0: Error: path was not a regular file. .proc.driver.nvidia.registry: Binary: "" .proc.driver.nvidia.suspend: suspend hibernate resume .proc.driver.nvidia.suspend_depth: default modeset uvm .proc.driver.nvidia.version: NVRM version: NVIDIA UNIX x86_64 Kernel Module 535.183.01 Sun May 12 19:39:15 UTC 2024 GCC version: ApportVersion: 2.28.1-0ubuntu3.1 Architecture: amd64 BootLog: Error: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/var/log/boot.log' CasperMD5CheckResult: unknown CompositorRunning: None CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Fri Aug 30 14:54:49 2024 DistUpgraded: Fresh install DistroCodename: noble DistroVariant: ubuntu ExtraDebuggingInterest: Yes, if not too technical GraphicsCard: Intel Corporation CoffeeLake-H GT2 [UHD Graphics 630] [8086:3e9b] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) Subsystem: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd.
