Bug description:
Tap the current time = Immediate crash.
Tap the wifi/power combo menu = Immediate crash.
Tap the top bar by itself = Immediate crash.
Tap the activities button = No crash?
Having the GNOME shell completely crash immediately after touching the
top bar is really annoying. Especially since a lot of the
functionality in the top bar is pretty important.
This was previously reported as
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2018160,
but that got closed because of inactivity.
