  gnome-shell crashed with SIGSEGV in clutter_stage_process_event()

Bug description:
  I was prompted to restart in order to complete a software updated.
  After (rebooting and) entering my password at login, the desktop
  appeared but the moues was unable to move. After ~5s I was kicked back
  to the login window, logged in again and everything was fine.
