I've seen the same issue when testing Ubuntu 23.04 on a recent Zen 4 CPU with embedded GPU (not my computer so I cannot give more details).
The funny thing is that Firefox is not the only application impacted: the Ubuntu installer (the new one using Flutter) also appears completely corrupted, making it impossible to install Ubuntu from a live USB.
