Some additional testing done: * If at cold boot I boot Windows 11 Pro first and then Linux (Debian or Ubuntu), Linux boots properly. * If at cold boot I add "nomodeset" to kernel parameters in Grub, boot process will hang as well. It's even worse with this param, because ctrl+alt+del does not reboot machine.
I believe it must be related to either firmware loading, i915 module or both. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2037176 Title: not able to cold boot with ARC770M Status in xserver-xorg-video-intel package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I am able to boot with kernel 6.5.x after install however after POWER OFF, Restart It hangs during boot and it does not start the graphical server.
