Public bug reported: After upgrading from Ubuntu 23.04 to 23.10, my Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones have Bluetooth audio problems that didn't happen on 23.04.
Initially, they connected in mono mode only, and audio was completely corrupt. I unpaired them and re-paired them, and this problem appears to be fixed. Now they give good audio quality, but the first second or so of audio is cut off when starting playing. The audio test in the Ubuntu sound settings plays "t left" rather than "front left". If I then click on right, it says "front right" correctly. If I close the audio test and open it again, the same problem happens again.
