Hi Clinton, thanks for your suggestion.

Chromium is a snap in Ubuntu, and as such, it automatically updates when 
the process is not running (and forcefully so after 15 days), so I do 
not understand the value of adding that.

Upstream might consider it though, you can try a report in 
https://crbug.com/.

  following red text watermark, if the browser is out-of-date: “This
