Public bug reported: Gnome System Monitor has been incorrectly showing the amount of RAM for some time (months?). Based on the system logs, I was able to determine that Gnome System Monitor has not been updated recently. So where is the incorrect data coming from?
Gnome System Monitor: RAM: 33.5 GB SWAP: 1.5 GB $ free total used free shared buff/cache available Mem: 32706540 12241184 5677344 1223428 14788012 11034196 Swap: 1459904 0 1459904 Everything indicates that Gnome System Monitor as RAM, gives the amount of RAM + SWAP. Why? Before that, the indications were correct - 32 GB RAM. In addition, SWAP is shown separately. ** Affects: gnome-system-monitor (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Gnome System Monitor has been incorrectly showing the amount of RAM for some time (months?).
