thank you for your bug report, when you wrote 'chrome' do you mean you installed the deb from Google for the chromium snap? Which kind of share is it?
reassigning on linux the fileselector isn't the filemanager, it's a widget coming from GTK (though in snap cases it's more complicated this they use 'portals' which is a component used to allow confined applications to access system resources) ** Package changed: nautilus (Ubuntu) => firefox (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1992255 Title: Cant upload files from remote folders : Firefox and Chrome Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I dont know if this is really a Nautilus bug. In windows when we attach file in a webserver it opens "explorer" so I think in Linux is more or less the same. Problem: Upload file from a remote share to a Browser it does nothing, no error nothing. If I upload from the same share to Thunderbird and it uploads normally. I noticed one thing, apparently the browsers uses a different "Nautilus" than Thunderbird.
