Number of monitors is not really relevant. What is relevant is that you
have a GPU (Intel) using atomic KMS and reporting:

Internal monitor doesn't wake up if there is external monitor

Bug description:
Sometime when unlocking the session and there is external monitor connected,
the internal monitor doesn't turn on, only the external one.
Unplugging the external monitor solves the issue.
