This causes the startup time for Firefox to roughly double. This is particularly noticeable on computers that were already not the fastest. In my case brainwashed ex-Chromebook Acer C720P (Intel Celeron 2955U @ 1.40GHz, with SSD) 8sec -> 15sec. This really is an unnecessary regression as snaps bring the user no advantage. In particular, for a typical notebook Firefox might arguably be the most used package and forcing users to a snapped version of Firefox without fallback leaves an overall perception of Ubuntu Jellyfish being slow.
