Public bug reported: Settings > About reports GPUs in the wrong order
In a typical hybrid setup you have: Primary GPU: Intel Secondary GPU: Nvidia and Intel does all the shell rendering. Yet when I look in Settings > About, the Graphics line reports Nvidia first and cuts off the Intel GPU information. This is misleading because the system is really using the Intel GPU for everything until such time as an app is opened explicitly on the "discrete" GPU. Intel should be the most prominent GPU on the Graphics line. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Status: New ** Tags: jammy -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1969561 Title: Settings > About reports GPUs in the wrong order Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Settings > About reports GPUs in the wrong order In a typical hybrid setup you have: Primary GPU: Intel Secondary GPU: Nvidia and Intel does all the shell rendering.
