  onboard can not type in some  input boxes

Status in onboard package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I am on Ubuntu 20.04.4 Mate desktop. While typing in to some input
  boxes such as Brisk Menu, onboard fails to grab that input box, as
  soon as I click a letter on onboard, application gui of search box
  closes, so, it's impossible to enter text into those applications. I
  noticed that GNOME On-screen Keyboard works well with those
  applications. What is the trick that "GNOME On-screen Keyboard"
  managed?
