@sokolov--I also have a Dell printer & I think I have fixed the problem by adding that AllowExpiredCerts option that @Nyyr mentioned, via the GUI settings dialog. As I recall the steps were:
settings -> printers -> Additional Printer settings right-click on affected printer (for me Dell_Color_MFP_E525w etc.) -> properties click 'job options' category on left scroll all the way to the bottom, where it says "To add a new option, enter its name in the box below and click to add." Type `AllowExpiredCerts` (without the back-ticks) and click 'Add' enter the value 'true' for this new option.
