The binaries distributed by Canonical via Snap do not behave as expected. Google Chrome builds and AppImage Chromium builds do. This issue did not occur weeks ago. I believe the issue comes from the build from Canonical. Issue reproduced with Snap builds from Stable and Beta channels.
