I'm not sure that's the right bug ID. Can you please tell us the
contents of /var/lib/whoopsie/whoopsie-id on this machine?

Also if you are experiencing gnome-shell bugs of any sort then it's a
good idea to disable all non-Ubuntu extensions in the 'Extensions' app
and then log in again. Because extensions cause so many bugs, that's
always the first thing to try.

** Information type changed from Public to Private

** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 1942121

Title:
gnome-shell crashed with SIGSEGV in __pthread_kill_internal()

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  This every time happens when:
  1- Start pc
2- Session goes into Wayland without having selected it
3- click on Firefox icon in the apps bar

Then the pc freezes, the only way to recover is by a hard reset.

Now I'm disabling Wayland for good and defaulting to Xorg.
