You seem to be right : the hdmi monitor seems to be reset... This didn't happen
a few weeks ago (maybe 21.04 update).
Here is the output of xrandr :
###
Initial xrandr result, when no problem is present (except that the hdmi monitor
refresh rate should be 144Hz but is detected at 120, maybe this is related)

Title:
  [nvidia] Display mode after wake-up

Status in mutter package in Ubuntu:
  New
Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers-460 package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
My dual display setup sometimes switches to a mirror display mode
(from joined display) when waking up from sleep.

This could be totally unrelated but I have two graphic cards, and both
screens are connected to the same one (Hdmi and display port).
