Title: Mouse pointer randomly pauses/stutters in gnome shell Wayland sessions Status in GNOME Shell: Unknown Status in Mutter: Confirmed Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in mutter package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: The mouse pointer randomly pauses/stutters in Gnome Shell (Wayland). It's not reliably smooth like you would see in Xorg or Mir demo servers. Feels like there is a blocking call being made in a GUI thread that shouldn't have any blocking calls. Although it's not clear if this is just a problem with pointer input or the shell compositing in general.
