  no desktop icons/files after start

Status in gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  After upgrading to Ubuntu 20.10 I don't see any files/launchers on the 
desktop after start. 
  But if I create a new Desktop folder per context menu, all files/launchers 
appear on the desktop.
