Public bug reported: Version: Ubuntu 20.04.01
My Tongfang PF5NU1G's internal microphone used to work on an older kernel version (5.4) but since I've upgraded the kernel to 5.8+ due to better support for AMD Renoir (Ryzen 7 4800H + Radeon Vega 8 graphics), the internal mic stopped working. I have also tried to use kernel version 5.6, but has the same problem. The mic is selected in the settings menu as: Digital Microphone-Family 17h(Models 10h-1fh) HD Audio Controller When i record audio with the default input source selected in Audacity, it records a small static-like sound. The microphone does not detect any input it seems. Thanks in advance!
