The consequence is that the policies are not applied. This is particularly problematic on, for example, public computers, where browsing history and passwords may be saved, or on school computers, where the dinosaur game will be easily available. Is there another way I'm unaware of to add system-wide policies when using the Chromium snap? If not, would it be possible to make the snap read the settings in the /etc/chromium-browser/policies/managed/ directory? This would make the transition from deb to snap easier on systems which are already configured with system-wide policies.
