Hi Sebastian, I will try to add the journal control log shortly.
Steps to reproduce : 1. Navigate to Activities and click users 2. Click on Fingerprint login for the respective user 3. Enroll an FP 4. Lock the laptop 5. Authenticate with enrolled FP 6. Observe FP auth is successful 7. Create another user in Ubuntu 20.04 8. Sign-In into newly created user 9. Navigate to users and click on fingerprint login option 10. Observe, it returns no action and 'Couldn't access fingerprint reader message appears' thereafter Expected Users should be able to enroll FP's for other users as well -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1882885 Title: FP Auth enroll for Multi user Scenario Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: It is observed 'Couldn't access any fingerprint reader message' while trying to enroll FP's for the first time for a newly created user.
