OK I tried for the debug version of file-roller but there is none listed within my repo. Instead I installed engrampa, which produces the same error, but also provides some error from bash: Could not create the symbolic link '/home/alistair/.cache/.fr-a0EpLC/Documents', pointing to '/home/alistair/MEGAsync/Documents'

This has been reported as a bug by many others as well. Today I selected dropbox folder and tried running FR in bash but there were no error report, the messagebox showed compressing 13,500 files then crash after a minute.
