Title:
External Primary monitor mistaken for built-in - Gnome Dock has a
wrong location description
Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
On a laptop with a built-in display (Internal GPU) and external
monitor (discrete GPU). I use the proprietary NVIDIA driver in
Performance mode.
If in Settings->Displays I select the external monitor to be the primary one
and I want the dock to appear on the primary display (the external monitor) in
Settings->Appearance Show on displays "Build-in display" (which is reversed).
In that scenario the test should be the name of the external monitor (Dell).
If I select it (Dell) the dock is moved the the real built-in display.
If the built-in display is the primary display - everything is fine.
