Tested in 3.4.4 (build:402) and the problem persists.

Tested in 3.5.0beta2... the graphic seems to be rendered correctly (open
path, "x" in the correct position). However I don't recall seeing the
"Break" option in the right-click context menu to break the object into
its individual component parts for editing (I no longer have the
3.5.0beta2 installation available to verify this, but can confirm this
option is present in 3.4.4).
