I'm Simple-scan developer.
I have an two scanners (HP Laser MFP 135a - hpaio backend and HP 4630 - smfd
backend).
After upgrade from Ubuntu 18.04 to Ubuntu 20.04, both scanners stops working on
simple-scan, xsane and scanimage.

I think it is some issue with provileges/sane, but not directly to
simple-scan, xsane and scanimage.

Simple Scan stops working after upgrade to 20.04

Bug description:
My HP5200 All-in-Oneder worked fine under 19.10, but after upgrading to
20.04, simple-scan can no
longer connect to the scanner although the printer still works fine. This is
fairly critical to
my work flow and I had to boot and use Windows 10 (major ick) to work around
this. NOT GOOD.
