Title: simple-scan does not communicate with scanner, also it is found with "lsusb" and "scanimage -L" Status in simple-scan package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: It seems simple-scan can no longer communicate with my scanner, although it was able to scan with the same hardware before. The hardware is found, but simple-scan reports communication errors. The hardware itself works. user@host:$ lsusb Bus 002 Device 002: ID 058f:9380 Alcor Micro Corp.
