Title:
  symbolic link is missing in amd64

Status in libexif package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  in the amd64 package there is a symbolic link missing in the filesystem.
  in the package libexif12 (0.6.19-1) are the following files:

  1704455   0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root     17 2011-04-10 19:45 libexif.so.12 ->
libexif.so.12.3.1
  1704176 276 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 280832 2009-11-25 13:49 libexif.so.12.3.1

  the the following link ist missing:
  1704460   0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root     13 2011-04-10 19:49 libexif.so ->
libexif.so.12

  I had to create it manually.
  the cause i was finding out it was, when i was using the programm
"qlandkartegt" and go to the menu "wegpunkt" --> "von bildern" (in englisch
version i think "waypoint" --> "from pictures"). the programm was coming up
woth a error message: "missing file libexif-.so"

  so i created a symolic link with:
  sudo ln -s libexif.so.12 libexif.so

  ...and all is right now....

  please update the package to make the link my installing it.

  Greetings
  eugen
