Thank you for your bug report. What desktop environment do you use? Can you make a photo of the lock screen? If you use the default GNOME/Ubuntu session then gnome-shell does the locking and not gnome-screensaver Could you add 'journalctl -b 0' log after getting the issue?

When my keyboard is switched to russian, after screen is locked, it is impossible to unlock. The screensaver lock screen has a language indicator and allows to switch the indicator. But it's still impossible to unlock. I believe the real keyboard layout doesn't switch, only the indicator switches on screen.
