Sound works fine, headphones or speakers. I initially thought it didn't, based on a bug I had experienced days ago in 17.04. I tried closing the lid and re-opening, but it did nothing. Then I watched a YouTube video about how to fix sound, and HEARD SOUND. So I realized the little sound indicator square that pops up when u press volume up or volume down just isn't "booping" any sound to give that feedback of the sound level. Expected behavior: boops when i press volume up or volume down Happened: no sound upon volume up or down, volume otherwise appears to work fine. ** Affects: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- 17.10 Sound Indicator Applet doesn't "boop" to let me know how loud it is. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1721424 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
