** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/846270 Title: Cancel search with Esc would be good Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: When searching, the proces can only be stopped by opening the menu and select Stop. Prior to 11.10 there was a button for this, but is was removed. Hence, stopping the proces is very difficult. Proposing to use Esc as a shortcut for stopping the search proces. Maybe this shortcut can be universal for all long during actions in Nautilus (not only for searching).
