Title: Disks cannot create ext4 partition on 5 TB external USB drive Status in Ubuntu MATE: New Status in gnome-disk-utility package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I deleted the pre-existing NTFS and got a drive with all space unallocated. When I tried to create an ext4 partition, I got an error about the size of the partition. Closed Control Center->Disks and used gParted. No problem creating the ext4 partition.
